ABOUT

Valérie was born 1996 in Frankfurt and grew up in Luxembourg in a Greek-Luxembourgish household. She spent most of her vacations in Greece with her family and both nationalities have always shaped her life and later also her projects. For example, her bachelor's thesis dealt with the craftsmanship of furniture and sustainability in ancient Greece. 

Driven by a passion for art and creative tasks, studied design at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Germany. During her bachelor studies, she gained practical knowledge in various crafts such as wood, ceramics and porcelain, glass design, as well as computer-aided design (CAD) and programs, such as Rhinoceros 3D, Keyshot, V-Ray, Adobe programs and others. 

To further develop her understanding of holistic product design, Valérie began her interdisciplinary studies in product design and process development at the TH (Technische Hochschule Köln) and KISD (Köln International School of Design). In 2023, she completed her Master's degree with a thesis in collaboration with a major business partner. Through the Master's program, she was able to expand her knowledge in product-related areas such as marketing, business excellence, project management and materials science. Her fascination for porcelain, sustainable design, materials and the associated interior design is constantly growing.
